They are made to fit inside the medium and large sized diapers. There is no need for a doubler in the newborn size, however, I can make a smaller version for that size if you prefer.  The doublers are made with one layer of 100% cotton flannelette and two layers of sherpa knit terry. The sherpa is sooo soft against a baby's bottom!  Doublers are $2.50/each. You can have your choice of fabric or I can make them with plain white flannel/sherpa or with white suedecloth/sherpa.
